Blades in the Soff Cut system are designed to cut aggregates during their "green zone," which occurs shortly after pouring as the material begins to harden. Normally, cracks can occurs at contraction points due to internal pressure, but making strategic cuts before the material is fully dry can help prevent this and create a smoother and more professional finish that will last longer. This blade can be used 0 to 2 hours after pouring in most cases, depending on weather, or whenever the surface can support your weight and that of your equipment. Each orange early entry blade features a spring-loaded skid plate and patented blade block to apply pressure to the surface where it's needed while allowing for an upward rotation. This helps prevent spalling and chipping during the process for a more durable finished product. And since you can often complete the pour and cuts on the same day, you save time and money.
