About The Product
Save Now with Roppe Ashen Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread, featuring a 72 inch rubber profile and a modern smooth finish for reliable stair protection. You're getting a practical solution for protecting busy stairwells, whether it's a residential complex, an office setting, or another moderate-traffic area. This tread runs a full 72 inches in length and 12.38 inches in width, so each step is fully covered and looks uniform from one stair to the next - no awkward seams or overhangs.
The smooth, consistent surface projects a contemporary look that works well with a wide range of interiors. Durable rubber material brings flexibility and an easy-to-wipe quality, making these treads simple to maintain while holding up well against everyday scuffs. In the Ashen colorway, the tread provides a light, neutral appearance - something between soft gray and off-white - that easily coordinates with most palettes without standing out too much or clashing with existing finishes.
Practicality extends to the profile, with the option for either a square or rounded edge. Square profiles offer definition, while the rounded alternative creates a softer line and reduces the chance of snagging footwear. Roppe's light duty construction is intended for settings that don't require heavy, commercial-grade reinforcement but still demand solid coverage and comfort underfoot. The tread's thickness is noticeable enough to add protection but doesn't throw off the stair's proportions.
Installation is straightforward: the rubber treads conform well to standard step contours and can be trimmed to fit custom sizes or irregular stair lengths. With a 5-year warranty included and the assurance of U.S. manufacturing, there's built-in confidence for facilities managers and contractors alike. The ability to cut to size on-site simplifies fitment during projects with unique step layouts.
