About The Product
Save Now with the Roppe 72 Inch Charcoal Light Duty Smooth Rubber Stair Tread for reliable coverage and a clean, smooth finish on high-use stairs. Covering large or standard-sized steps is straightforward here: each tread measures a full 72 inches in length and 12.38 inches in width. That means fewer seams to manage and a reliable fit for most commercial staircases, hallways, or access routes. The charcoal color is intentionally understated, blending neatly with most modern interiors where floors should function quietly in the background.
Manufactured in the USA, this Roppe stair tread uses a smooth rubber surface that's built for steady foot traffic. There's no deep texture competing with mobility aids or cleaning machines, which makes daily upkeep much less demanding. Choose between a square or round edge profile for the finish-whether you want a crisp edge to match other flooring or prefer a softer step-off, both options are covered for code or visual preferences.
Don't let the "light duty" name fool you; these treads come with a 5-year warranty and are purpose-built for projects that require both value and a dependable wear life. They sit flat and stay put with the right adhesive (not included), which is crucial in public spaces where safety standards matter. If you have staircases that see steady traffic but don't need aggressive treads or bold textures, this smooth option keeps things looking uniform and easy to maintain.
At 72 inches long, they're well-suited to wider staircases that aren't always a perfect fit for standard treads. This sizing helps cut down on installation time and reduces the waste generated from off-cuts. With both square and round edge profiles available, you have flexibility to match your project specs or meet code requirements based on your region and application. It's a practical, efficiently manufactured solution for institutions, offices, or retail settings where the top priority is reliable, low-maintenance coverage.
You'll want to use an adhesive formulated for commercial rubber stair treads for best results-confirm compatibility before installation. The lack of heavy patterning is ideal when accessible surfaces or cleaning efficiency are top concerns, and the even profile provides peace of mind for facility managers who need long-term value.
