About The Product
Call Now for Exclusive Savings-Roppe Heavy Duty Smooth Stair Tread Brown 48 Inch provides reliable rubber protection in a straightforward profile for stairways. This is a dependable solution for facilities with high foot traffic throughout the day. With a 48-inch length, each piece offers comprehensive coverage for standard commercial and institutional stairs, and the 12.31-inch width means you get full tread surface coverage-no gaps left exposed. The smooth surface stops dirt from traveling further inside and is simple to clean, helping keep maintenance manageable and efficient.
You have the option of square or round profile edges. For facilities with a mix of newer and older construction, this flexibility supports compliance with most safety codes or accessibility guidelines. The tread's neutral brown color works well across a variety of flooring and wall finishes, especially in high-use environments where an understated look is preferable. The smooth finish offers a streamlined appearance that blends cleanly with either concrete or sealed wood.
The heavy-duty rubber material stands up to intensive daily use. It stays in place on the step, resisting the curling or cracking seen in lighter alternatives. In settings where shoes drag in rainwater or grit, these treads reliably maintain traction without imposing the maintenance workload of carpet or vinyl. Rubber's inherent slip resistance contributes extra security, especially in commercial and institutional spaces with frequent traffic shifts.
The 10-year warranty surpasses most warranties you'll find for stair treads outside of custom orders, providing a measure of reliability for facility managers planning long-term. Made in the USA, this product also fits buyers looking to meet domestic sourcing requirements or LEED criteria for American-made content.
Installation is straightforward, with the profile and smooth surface suiting a range of stair types and adhesive selections. There aren't deep grooves to trap debris or complicate cleaning, so upkeep keeps a low profile even in busy environments. If you're specifying treads for offices, healthcare, or educational buildings, you'll find these are well-suited for high-traffic areas and routine cleaning cycles.
