About The Product
Fast Shipping Roppe Light Duty Smooth Galactic Stair Tread 60 Inch Rubber delivers reliable protection for steps in its muted smooth finish and square or round edge profile. This stair tread stands out for its practical combination of size, durability, and understated style, catering to those who want consistent looks and reduced maintenance in both commercial and residential settings. At 60 inches in length and 12.38 inches wide, you've got enough coverage for standard and broader steps, cutting down on installation time and eliminating the eyesore of pieced-together sections.
The tread surface is Galactic, a shade that slips into most color schemes without overpowering its surroundings. Its smooth finish offers a clean, modern look-this is the kind of tread you'd install in spaces where you want the protection of a rubber surface, but don't want to call attention to it. The option of a square or round profile edge means you're not locked into one look or application style. Square edges land modern and architectural, while the round is a touch more traditional on the eye and finger-take your pick to match the space.
This is a light duty tread, engineered for areas that see steady foot traffic but don't experience the constant wear you'd find in airports or busy industrial zones. It's made from rubber, which strikes a strong balance between comfort underfoot, slip resistance, and the ability to absorb minor impacts that would otherwise damage underlying stair materials. If you've been through several treads that scuff easily or start curling at the corners, you'll appreciate the solid construction and resilience here-not bulletproof, but dependable for everyday situations, and it stays flat from end to end.
Installation is straightforward. Roppe recommends adhesive suited for rubber products; if you have specific site needs, consult the product documentation or an installer for guidance. The clean-cut rectangular profile makes trimming easier if you need a custom fit, though its default 60-inch length does most of the work. The surface is easy to damp-mop and resists the kind of dirt buildup that tends to happen on textured treads, making it a good option where cleanliness and appearance are non-negotiable.
Backing up its practical features, this Roppe Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread comes with a 5-year warranty. That's confidence in material and manufacturing-especially notable given it's made in the USA. If you're updating a staircase or outfitting new steps from the ground up, this stair tread answers the call for quality, quick shipping, and consistent performance.
