About The Product
Buy with Confidence Roppe Ribbed Battleship Square Nose Stair Tread offers a 60 inch length in durable rubber and a ribbed finish for reliable performance. The straightforward approach to both material and construction here puts practicality front and center-this stair tread covers most standard commercial steps edge-to-edge without modification, so installation is efficient and results are consistent. The battleship gray color blends easily into a variety of settings, from high-activity commercial interiors to industrial corridors, remaining subtle in nearly any environment.
The square nose profile means there's a flat, even transition at the step edge. It's a detail that can help minimize the risk of trips or catches, especially in spaces where ADA compliance or heavy use is part of everyday requirements. The ribbed surface isn't just for looks-it provides steady traction to help keep foot traffic secure, whether that's on a busy stairwell in a manufacturing facility or a school staircase seeing hundreds of passes a day. At 12.25 inches wide and 60 inches long, the tread fits most applications with a single piece, reducing seams and the need for extra product joins.
Installation is straightforward, compatible with most adhesives made for rubber stairs (adhesive not included-choose one appropriate for the underlying surface for best results). The heavy-duty rubber used here fends off scuffs and stands up to impacts, so once these treads are in place, maintenance demands tend to stay low even as usage ramps up. They're particularly suitable for locations needing reliable, long-term stair protection without cycling through constant replacements.
This product is made in the USA and supported by a 5-year warranty, which gives facility managers and contractors a measure of assurance when it comes to long-term planning and budgeting. The battleship gray, square nose combination remains popular because it disappears into the architecture while handling daily wear without fuss. Other variations and finishes are available, but this is one of those options that just gets the job done day in and day out.
