About The Product
Shop stair treads Online and Save with the Roppe Ribbed Square Nose Stair Tread Greige 48 Inch rubber step, providing a ribbed finish and practical 48 inch dimensions. This model is built to withstand wear in both commercial and residential settings, combining functionality and a reliable build underfoot. Manufactured in the USA, it stands as a dependable option for property owners and facility managers who value straightforward performance.
With a length of 48 inches and a width of 12.25 inches, this stair tread covers standard step sizes, giving complete protection at the point of most impact. The ribbed surface texture helps improve traction and reduce the risk of slipping, especially in high-traffic environments. At the front, the square nose structure adds a defined line and a bit of extra material at the edge, which helps resist chipping after repeated use.
The tread features a Greige colorway, striking an understated balance between gray and beige-useful for blending into different interiors without being too stark or too warm. This shade effectively conceals dirt and marks over time, keeping stairwells presentable between cleanings. For environments with a lot of foot traffic, that practical advantage matters.
Made from rubber, this product provides flexibility underfoot and absorbs impacts better than more rigid materials. Daily scuffs, dropped objects, and consistent use won't take a toll as quickly as they might on harder stair coverings. Cleaning is straightforward with rubber-usually a mop or standard cleaning agent handles messes quickly, which saves time for maintenance staff in public buildings and offices. Rubber also tends to dampen sound more effectively, keeping operations quieter where needed.
The 48-inch tread length simplifies installation for standard stairs, often allowing for direct placement with minimal adjustment or trimming. Compatible with a range of commercial-grade adhesives, this model can be secured to common stair substrates like concrete and wood. The square nose allows a close fit along stair edges, supporting a neat result and better adhesive contact, which is essential for long-term safety.
And with a five-year warranty, there's added confidence for those managing long-term projects or ongoing property needs. You can review additional stair tread options here.
