About The Product
Discounted Pricing, the Roppe Ribbed Square Nose Stair Tread Light Brown 48 Inch Rubber Type delivers solid traction and coverage with its 48 inch by 12.25 inch measurements. Across busy stairwells, this tread performs reliably, combining a practical square nose profile with a ribbed surface that improves grip underfoot. The rib pattern isn't only visual-it provides real footing security for environments where slip resistance matters, like municipal buildings and office complexes. The square nose style meets steps with a finished edge, offering a straightforward and professional appearance that fits easily in most commercial interiors.
The light brown color works as a versatile neutral, blending into a variety of settings and supporting everything from polished hardwood to low-pile carpet installations. At 48 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, these treads fit most common stair sizes, reducing the need for custom fitting. The tread itself is made of rubber, which brings both flexibility and durability-resisting chips and cracks, even in high-traffic areas. Regular cleaning is simple and the matte ribbed finish helps reduce visible scuffs or marks, so these maintain their appearance between scheduled maintenance cycles.
Installation is straightforward-compatible with commercial-grade adhesives made for rubber treads-helping to streamline project timelines for contractors and facilities teams. With a 5-year warranty, there's added assurance for project planners and property managers. These are Made in USA, a factor that supports reliable sourcing and compliance with local standards when it's time to specify materials for construction or renovation projects. The square nose edge is favored in settings that expect heavy use, as it helps protect both the step and tread joint from stress during repeated foot traffic.
Facilities where constant footfall is a reality-schools, auditoriums, retail spaces-often choose this light brown finish to gently hide spots and stains that might be more prominent on lighter or glossy stair surfaces. This color, combined with the non-glossy finish, helps the tread look tidy even as shoes and boots pass over each day. With competitive pricing, these treads allow budgets to stretch further-especially important when ordering in volume for multi-story properties or phased renovation projects. The longevity, aided by the warranty and the forgiving color, also helps contain long-term flooring costs.
