About The Product
Buy Now and Save with the Roppe Smoke Heavy Duty Smooth Stair Tread, a 72 inch rubber step designed in Smoke for demanding commercial use. This stair tread stands out with its substantial 72-inch length, giving you coverage for wider steps or allowing you to trim as needed for a precise fit. The width measures 12.31 inches, which means your standard staircases are completely covered, reducing gaps and potential trip hazards in high-traffic environments.
The finish here is smooth but doesn't sacrifice durability-Roppe's Heavy Duty Smooth profile is engineered specifically for areas where both resilience and easy maintenance are priorities. Whether you're working in a commercial building, educational facility, healthcare space, or anywhere that sees a steady flow of foot traffic, this tread is designed to hold up under tough use without quickly showing wear. The rubber construction isn't just chosen for comfort underfoot-it's also a logical choice for facilities managers looking for a long-term, low-maintenance solution.
There's real flexibility in profile, too. You get the option between a square or round edge, giving you the ability to tailor the tread's look and level of skid assistance to your project. The Smoke color brings a modern, neutral tone that fits easily into a range of interior styles, from institutional to contemporary. No loud contrasts or dated motifs here-just clean lines that keep things looking professional.
For installation, these treads pair well with standard stair tread adhesives (not included), and that compatibility means you can complete your project without searching for proprietary supplies. The treads are manufactured in the USA, providing that added assurance of quality control and domestic craftsmanship you may require for government or institutional projects. If you're sizing up options for a facility overhaul or need to adhere to strict procurement policies, these can check both performance and sourcing boxes easily.
Warranty support is strong at 10 years. That's the kind of backing that matters when you're investing in dozens or hundreds of units-especially in public or revenue-generating spaces where safety and appearance both matter. You're not making a quick-fix purchase here; this is a step solution that's meant to last and backed accordingly.
If you need more details or want to review compatible accessories, adhesive recommendations, or order info, the manufacturer's stair tread and riser page offers further resources for architects, builders, and maintenance teams.
There aren't a lot of products that cover length, width, color versatility, profile choice, US manufacturing standards, and warranty in one shot. This Roppe stair tread covers the practical variables that matter when you're outfitting a facility for real-world use-not just for looks, but for day-in, day-out performance under a commercial workload.
