About The Product
Quick Ship Roppe Somber Square Nose Raised Square Stair Tread 60 Inch Rubber offers an easy solution for adding grip and bold style to Somber stairways. With its 60-inch length and 12.31-inch width, this tread covers a wide range of stair dimensions and offers full step coverage, making it practical for commercial and residential use with high foot traffic. A raised square surface finish introduces added texture underfoot-not just for looks, but for dependable slip-resistance, even in environments where moisture or dust can undermine safety.
The Somber color delivers a clean look and coordinates with modern, minimalist interiors or commercial settings that need a grounded, neutral tone. Roppe manufactures this stair tread in the USA from durable rubber, which stands up to repeated impact and compressive forces over time without looking worn after a heavy-use season. At 60 inches long, each tread is well-suited to most standard stair widths encountered in offices, schools, and public buildings, simplifying installation and planning. The profile features a distinct, squared nose that fits flush with the rising edge of the stair-minimizing tripping hazards and anchoring securely once installed.
Every tread carries a 10-year warranty from Roppe, which reinforces its long-term value and signals a level of confidence not seen with temporary or stick-on stair covers. Because the square nose and raised texture extend across the full width, you don't have to search for additional accessories for edge protection-installation is straightforward for professionals and experienced DIYers alike. The purpose-built rubber construction not only supports heavy daily use but also maintains visual appeal longer than many vinyl alternatives. If you have specialty needs-like transitioning between different surfaces or working with stairs that don't match standard dimensions-Roppe's treads can streamline project planning, since they're purpose-built to fit most conventional settings right out of the box.
These treads ship quickly, which is especially practical if you're mid-renovation or facing tight project deadlines. The "Quick Ship" aspect means less time waiting and more time seeing results in your finished space.
