About The Product
Best Service Tarkett Johnsonite Greenbluff Color Splash Stair Tread in Gray provides a 48 inch raised square rubber profile suitable for commercial stairs. If you're looking for a stair solution that manages high-traffic environments and keeps maintenance straightforward, this is the kind of product you end up coming back to. The raised square surface pattern gives each tread a definite grip underfoot and visually, it reads modern-no loud colors, no fuss-just a grounded gray that slots right in for schools, healthcare facilities, municipal spaces, or anywhere else safety and longevity matter.
This is a commercial-grade tread with a square profile, designed to work across a range of architectural needs. At 48 inches long by 12.25 inches wide, it's practical for most standard stair applications, whether you're finishing a new build or updating an existing stairway. The tread is constructed from durable rubber, which isn't only functional in reducing slips; it also stands up to consistent wear in areas that see daily foot traffic. The material choice here matters-rubber has just enough give underfoot to provide comfort, but it's also dense enough that it doesn't show gouges or scratches easily.
You won't find any hidden embellishments or excessive branding. Just a straightforward, utilitarian look with the Color Splash model's signature gray shade. That makes integration into current color schemes painless-gray is the kind of neutral that works alongside brighter safety accents or alongside wood and metal finishes. The raised square finish isn't just about aesthetics: it channels water away, helps with cleaning, and gives the surface a defined tactile feel that's noticeable underfoot, but smooth enough for wheeled carts or janitorial equipment to roll over without issues.
This stair tread is made in the United States, which can matter if you're prioritizing products manufactured under US regulatory standards and want to minimize lead times. The five-year warranty backs up the idea that this is a long-term solution, not a stopgap-ideal if you're managing a facility and don't want to revisit stair maintenance any sooner than necessary.
