About The Product
Cut Costs, Not Corners - Save Online Tarkett Johnsonite Hammered Gateway Stair Tread Gray 60 inch Rubber Square Nose 12.5 inch is designed for demanding commercial staircases where both safety and performance are essential. The Hammered finish stands out for its slip-resistant surface, making it a practical choice for high-traffic environments that require durable flooring solutions. At 60 inches in length and 12.5 inches in width, this stair tread covers deeper step profiles effectively, offering reliable coverage and visual continuity on each tread run.
The Square Nose profile presents a clean and modern edge that adapts well to a range of stair designs, especially where architectural aesthetics are important. The Angle Fit model ensures the tread sits securely with minimal movement, further supported by rubber construction that maintains flexibility and resilience over years of wear. Backed by a 5-year warranty, it offers long-term value-especially useful for institutional or commercial spaces needing consistent, hard-wearing materials.
The gray colorway is easy to coordinate in large projects, whether you're matching with neutral palettes or contrasting with bolder interior finishes. The Hammered texture helps conceal minor scuffs and abrasions, reducing visible wear and simplifying maintenance. Manufactured in the United States, there's added peace of mind around quality control and supply chain reliability. This tread ships as a single piece at a competitive price point, helping you manage project budgets without sacrificing performance.
Accessories such as adhesives and risers (not included) allow further customization to meet job-specific installation requirements, with the square nose making the transition clean to risers of matching height. If you need additional details or a supply for a large-scale job, Tarkett's trusted commercial reputation means this stair tread is a safe and smart choice.
