About The Product
Nationwide Top Dealer Tarkett Johnsonite Historic Color Splash Stair Tread Brown Raised Square Rubber 48 inch delivers enhanced traction and style for stairways. This model is constructed specifically for commercial and academic environments where slip-resistance and lasting performance are priorities. The raised square profile increases surface grip, providing reliable footing in busy corridors, classrooms, and office settings where safety can't be an afterthought.
Sized at 48 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, the stair tread covers standard steps well. Its brown coloration is understated and works quietly with most flooring schemes, offering a professional look that isn't distracting but integrates cleanly into common areas. The tread is manufactured in the United States using durable rubber, which stands up to daily foot traffic and routine cleaning, making it a practical pick for spaces that demand both function and a cohesive appearance.
Instead of a flat surface, each tread features a distinct square pattern that collects dirt before it becomes a hazard, helping to maintain a safer walking surface especially during high-traffic hours. The rubber base material not only resists wear better than many alternatives but offers a slight cushioning effect, which helps reduce footfall noise and lessen the chance of visible gouges. Backed by a 5-year warranty, this line is built for situations where reliability matters over years, not just months.
No adhesives or supplemental hardware are supplied, giving installers the flexibility to choose fastening methods that fit their project and flooring conditions. The Color Splash series is made for settings where you need consistent color and dependable performance, especially when coordinating treads across multiple stairwells and spaces.
The square profile makes these treads just as suitable for older stair renovations as for new construction projects where building codes and long-term use are top of mind. If further product details or other color or pattern options are required, information is available on the manufacturer's website at the provided source link. With reliable performance and a warranty that ensures support, these stair treads meet the everyday needs of both contractors and facility managers alike.
