About The Product
Order Today and Save. Tarkett Johnsonite Maritime Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 60 inch is engineered for settings that experience steady foot traffic and demand reliable solutions. You get a 60-inch length tread in a deep blue, manufactured in the United States from resilient rubber and finished with Tarkett's distinctive hammered texture-an option well-suited to commercial, educational, and public spaces seeking both safety and consistent visual appeal.
This stair tread measures 12.25 inches across, which means it works for most standard staircases without leaving exposed edges or requiring extra coverage. Installed with a square profile, the tread maintains crisp lines that fit neatly with a wide range of flooring types. The hammered surface is more than cosmetic-it's a practical choice for reducing slips and maintaining grip, even when wet or dirty, which is often a top concern in shared or busy stairwells.
Constructed entirely from quality rubber, the tread resists cracking, warping, or hardening over time-common issues with lower-grade materials. Uniform molding ensures each piece fits identically, crucial when ordering in bulk or maintaining a standardized look across multiple staircases. Scuff marks, grit, or smudges clean off with minimal effort, so managing appearance over years of use is straightforward and helps minimize downtime for maintenance personnel.
Attachment is handled via adhesives (sold separately), providing the flexibility to select the right bonding method for wood, concrete, or tile surfaces. With a five-year warranty, Tarkett stands behind the workmanship, offering peace of mind for property managers and owners who need reliability over the long term.
The bold blue color, coupled with its tactile hammered finish, serves dual purposes-supporting visual and underfoot wayfinding while reinforcing safety and compliance. This Maritime Color Splash stair tread is a practical choice for any installation where functional performance, easy upkeep, and a clearly defined look matter.
