About The Product
Lowest Price Online: Tarkett Johnsonite Palous Falls Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch is engineered to deliver dependable performance for staircases in commercial and institutional settings. With sourcing and assembly based in the United States, it meets the needs of facilities seeking reliable American-made materials along with meaningful savings thanks to a 5-year warranty.
This stair tread is 72 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, which covers most standard and oversized stair steps. The blue color option stands out for adding a clean accent to interiors, with a color profile that sits comfortably in both modern and traditional environments. Instead of a rounded or beveled shape, the tread's edge holds a square profile, producing a uniform look once installed across multiple stairways. A hammered surface finish gives the rubber a light texture-this is not just an aesthetic decision; it makes each step less slippery and helps disguise everyday scuffs and prints that accumulate with daily use.
Constructed from rubber, this stair tread is a smart choice wherever heavy use is expected. Rubber offers a soft landing underfoot, dampens sound, and resists wear from constant foot traffic. Routine cleaning is straightforward, since the surface doesn't easily trap dust or grime. The hammered finish brings an extra layer of grip, so entryways, hallways, and stairwells in school and healthcare buildings, for instance, benefit from the added reassurance against slips. Its Color Splash model name refers simply to the range's palette.
The length and width of each stair tread allow for seamless coverage, allowing for quick installation during construction work or retrofitting in existing spaces. While the listing does not indicate included adhesives or accessory components, industry standards recommend commercial-grade adhesives specified for rubber treads, and selection can depend on the subfloor material. It's always advisable to verify with your supplier for any additional products needed to complete the project to a professional standard.
If you want reliability, safety, and an appearance that won't quickly show wear, the Tarkett Johnsonite Palous Falls Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch addresses these requirements directly. It's cataloged under model HMNTSPVJ872 and backed by a 5-year warranty for added peace of mind. To view full details or locate similar stair tread solutions, visit this manufacturer's page.
