About The Product
Largest Roppe Retailer, the Roppe Battleship Square Nose Raised Square Stair Tread 60 Inch delivers durable rubber protection and a raised surface in a Battleship color. The defining detail here is the raised square-patterned surface-an intentional choice that goes beyond visual effect by increasing traction, which is especially valuable in high-traffic commercial and institutional stairwells. In Battleship, you get a solid, neutral gray that blends easily into most flooring with a professional finish that stays in the background but performs up front where it counts.
This tread measures 60 inches long by 12.31 inches wide, providing coverage that meets the needs of common stair flights found in offices, schools, or municipal buildings. It features a square nose-meaning the front edge offers a sculpted, angular transition to the riser rather than rolling over. This profile does more than just set a neat front; it helps install flush to the riser for a precise, clean effect, and stands up to daily impact from shoes, carts, and equipment.
Made from heavy-duty rubber, the tread absorbs noise, mutes impact, and resists scuffs. One length covers most stairs without patchwork or awkward splicing. The fully molded manufacturing process ensures the raised pattern remains consistent and the edges stay true-essential for keeping the stair surface stable over time. The material also simplifies cleaning since dirt and debris have nowhere to hide and can be swept or mopped away easily.
Manufactured in the USA, this tread comes with a 10-year warranty for added assurance. It's part of Roppe's larger lineup for stair safety, compatible with color-matched risers and adhesives (available separately). The suite of related installation materials is practical-allowing for color continuity and simplified logistics on larger stair runs or multiple building floors.
Contractors and property managers can count on bulk-purchase discounts from select suppliers; terms may vary, but the advantages typically scale up for larger projects. Installation matches standard practices for commercial stair products-pair it with adhesives engineered for rubber and expect easy handling during fitment or retrofits.
