About The Product
Largest Supplier of Roppe Products, the Roppe Vantage Galactic Raised Circles Stair Tread Without Riser delivers a durable 72 inch rubber solution with a circular finish. For demanding environments where everyday traffic quickly exposes the weaknesses of lesser stair treads, this offering stands out for its longevity, surface texture, and performance-driven style. Made in the USA, it delivers a straightforward answer to commercial safety and maintenance concerns, and the Galactic color brings a deep, modern hue that works well across a broad range of interiors-without overpowering surrounding surfaces.
This model measures 72 inches in length and 12.06 inches wide, targeting standard installations in public and private facilities. The raised circular surface pattern isn't just there for looks-it provides consistent traction underfoot, which matters most as people move up or down in busy buildings, especially when conditions are less than ideal. Smooth treads tend to get slick quickly; the raised circles help prevent that, holding their grip even after repeated cleanings or heavy usage. Since this model ships without a riser, flooring professionals have more leeway to coordinate vertical step faces to match project-specific needs or to replace individual treads as needed-reducing long-term downtime and costs.
The rubber composition resists curling and shrinking, and it maintains its fit over time, which means stairs keep a professional appearance and don't develop unsightly gaps or warping-an issue with quicker-to-install, thinner alternatives. A 10-year warranty speaks to its long-term reliability across educational, medical, and business venues. Installers will appreciate the compatibility with standard-grade adhesives, which helps simplify ordering and application across multi-unit jobsites.
Each 72-inch length is intended for single-piece coverage, eliminating the seams and patchwork repairs that can creep into high-traffic stairwells. The lack of integrated riser lets you address specific requirements for each step face, and you retain flexibility during renovations or new construction. The option to coordinate Galactic colorway treads throughout an entire facility promotes consistency from floor to floor, whether for function or visual continuity.
