About The Product
Up to 40% off retail, the Roppe Ribbed Galactic Square Nose Stair Tread 60 Inch rubber step delivers durable ribbed grip in a Galactic finish for reliable safety. When you're upgrading a space that sees steady foot traffic, this tread stands out for its solid rubber construction and enhanced ribbed texture-the entire surface designed around stability. At 60 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, each piece gives generous coverage, ensuring even wider stairs get one continuous run instead of several smaller inserts. There's no compromise on profile, either-the square nose keeps the edge looking sharp and uniform against risers, which might not seem vital until you've seen mismatched noses in a finished stairwell.
The practicality here goes beyond just a tough rubber build. By going with a ribbed surface in the Galactic finish, you get traction underfoot-those grooves really do make a noticeable difference in grip, especially when the weather delivers water or grit inside. The finish doesn't just compare favorably for performance, either, but also for its understated, modern tone. It resists showing scuffs and cleans up far easier than a matte stair tread, which is a perk for commercial settings with high turnover in maintenance.
Each tread is manufactured in the USA and comes backed by a five-year warranty, so you're getting assurance that it will hold up under pressure-whether that's in apartment buildings, offices, or public spaces. The square nose profile is designed for pairing with standard adhesives, no complicated install steps or proprietary glue requirements. And if you're handling a bulk project, the price drop-up to 40% off retail-can make a real difference when budgeting for multi-floor jobs.
In terms of variations, this particular model is the Galactic color in the square nose and ribbed texture, but Roppe offers other hues and finish styles if you're coordinating a full building. Accessories and adhesives can all be sourced for installation through the same network, ensuring compatibility.
