About The Product
Largest Supplier of Roppe Products, the Roppe Ribbed Galactic Round Nose Stair Tread 60 Inch Rubber delivers reliable traction and durability in a ribbed finish. This stair tread is built to address demanding foot traffic and everyday wear, making it well-suited for commercial spaces, institutional stairwells, or residential buildings that face higher use. The ribbed texture isn't just for looks-it actively provides grip underfoot, which is especially important in busy or safety-focused environments.
The color is Galactic, a deep, cool shade that stands up well to dirt and is easy to maintain. Spanning a full 60 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, the tread covers a broad step area, reducing seams and potential slipping points. The round nose profile shields stair edges from damage over time and presents a neat, continuous look across each step-never appearing harsh or unfinished.
Formed from commercial-grade rubber, this stair tread absorbs impact and holds up against scuffs, impacts, and footwear abrasion. Unlike softer alternatives, rubber maintains its functional surface year after year, without breaking down from daily punishment. The ribbed pattern travels longitudinally for the entire length, providing slip resistance that's not likely to wear smooth any time soon.
Originating from the USA, each unit comes with a 5-year warranty, which provides peace of mind for facility managers and property owners who require reliable performance. While the tread is compatible with multiple adhesive options commonly used in the field, the exact installation method can be tailored to specific building and substrate requirements, allowing flexibility for professionals tackling projects with unique needs.
Projects that require uniform look and performance across all stairs will appreciate how this stair tread lines up with Roppe's full selection of risers and related products in the same Galactic shade. The consistent color and ribbed surface mean you won't have to worry about mismatching stairways or replacements down the line. When the job involves safety, longevity, and visual consistency, this tread does what's required quietly and effectively, without unnecessary complications.
