About The Product
Save Now with the Roppe Somber Low Profile Raised Circular Square Stair Tread, featuring a 48 inch length, 12.50 inch width, and durable rubber construction. If you're sourcing for commercial or public spaces, this tread covers a lot of territory-literally and figuratively. At 48 inches long, it handles most standard stair configurations, which means fewer cuts and less material waste during installation. The low profile keeps each step looking clean, with just enough thickness to provide step comfort and minimize tripping hazards.
This tread relies on reliable rubber-a choice that offers long service life in high-traffic environments. Footsteps don't echo loudly, and the surface stays resilient even with heavy daily wear. The raised circular pattern across the surface isn't just for looks; it gives extra grip underfoot. That's particularly noticeable on days when conditions are wet or when the building sees a stream of students, employees, or visitors hustling up and down. The tread keeps people steady, and that's noticeable on a busy flight of stairs.
The Somber color has a quiet way of fitting in-it's a deep, neutral shade that doesn't draw unwanted attention or clash against most flooring schemes. It holds its muted tone even after extended use, and minor marks are concealed instead of popping out. The finish pattern is circular and does a subtle job camouflaging dust until cleaning. Adhesives and accessories aren't bundled here, so you'll choose those based on your flooring needs and preference for install speed or removability. It works with Roppe's catalog of accessories, so there's room to match profiles or fill out a renovation without fuss.
This model is Made in USA and backed by a 10-year warranty, an assurance that's hard to ignore when longevity is key to your spec list. School buildings, office complexes, and institutional settings tend to show wear quickly without the right stair solution-this one holds up well, keeping its shape and finish through years of daily use.
