The Somber color is neutral and understated, making it well-suited for interiors where a subtle, modern aesthetic is preferred. The top surface features a low-profile raised circular pattern-this detail isn't just for appearance; it helps provide consistent traction while maintaining a low visual profile, suitable for facilities where understated function is critical.
This model measures 72 inches in length by 12.50 inches in width, providing generous stair coverage that fits most standard step sizes. The low-profile structure means the tread sits close to the step, reducing edge thickness for added comfort underfoot and a smoother transition between surfaces. Fabricated from durable rubber, it absorbs impact and resists everyday wear from steady foot traffic, cleaning, and shifts in indoor climate. The square edge construction aligns with contemporary interiors while also supporting secure footing.
Manufactured in the USA, each tread complies with rigorous production and quality standards and comes with a 10-year warranty for added peace of mind. This warranty demonstrates a commitment to reliability over the product's life, making the tread a practical solution for schools, municipal buildings, healthcare environments, and offices. Its dimensions are set to simplify installation in both new builds and replacements for older stair materials, with enough thickness and flexibility to handle slight imperfections in underlying steps without compromising grip or comfort.
Where slip resistance is required, the raised circular surface pattern actively assists in reducing risk, and the muted color selection avoids drawing unnecessary attention to stair fixtures. Installation typically uses adhesive tailored to the floor substrate (ordered separately), and maintenance is straightforward-rubber's inherent resistance to scuffs and dents means ongoing upkeep is minimal compared to some alternatives.
