About The Product
ASAP Delivery is available for the Tarkett Johnsonite Cannon Beach Color Splash Stair Tread in Blue, a 48 inch rubber square-profile stair tread built for consistent durability. For anyone focused on maintaining both safety and a cohesive modern look in high-traffic environments, this raised square stair tread stands out. The Cannon Beach Blue adds a bright, confident tone to an interior while the square profile keeps the aesthetic crisp and architectural. Every edge and line stays sharp, visually and structurally, even in busy spaces. It's designed for commercial and institutional use, but you'll find it holds up just as well in schools, retail entries, or office towers where daily pounding is the norm.
At 48 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, each tread is sized to cover standard stair runs, and the added width offers reassurance-there's generous surface area for foot traffic plus wheelchairs and carts. The rubber composition feels substantial underfoot and isn't subject to easy cracks or peeling; you're getting tactile traction thanks to the raised square finish, which isn't just cosmetic. This texture helps reduce slip risks for anyone ascending or descending, even in wet or dusty conditions. If you've worked with flat treads that show scuffs or wear early, you'll notice this style masks light markings and preserves its appearance longer.
The Color Splash model caters to facilities that want to coordinate step safety with color-coded wayfinding or just prefer something more vibrant than neutrals. If your remodel or new build has ADA requirements or you're establishing clear visual breaks between levels, the Blue option is a practical pick. The 5-year warranty from Tarkett Johnsonite underscores a commitment to performance - it's rare you'll need a replacement before then, assuming proper installation.
Installation is straightforward for professionals familiar with rubber stair products, though be sure to use approved adhesives compatible with rubber to maximize longevity. This model doesn't include adhesives or additional accessories, so plan to source those based on your specific substrate, whether concrete or wood. And you're working with a Made in the United States product, so lead times for commercial projects are reliably tight, particularly with ASAP delivery in play.
The square profile not only complements tile and modern molding styles, it also means each tread meets the riser cleanly, minimizing seams that could accumulate debris. Maintenance is simple - occasional sweeping and mopping are all that's needed; staining and water absorption aren't issues with this rubber construction. For larger installs, consistent color throughout batches keeps long staircases uniform from top to bottom. If you'd like a look at the technical or compliance details, the manufacturer provides full documentation and spec sheets so facilities managers can align them with internal standards and local codes.
This stair tread is part of Tarkett Johnsonite's broader Raised Square collection, so if you're matching baseboards, risers, or transitions, you'll find compatible profiles and shades across the line.
