About The Product
Largest Tarkett Retailer Tarkett Johnsonite Cannon Beach Color Splash Stair Tread Blue Raised Square 72 inch by 12.25 inch provides durable stair coverage in hardworking spaces. For high-traffic settings where consistent safety and reliability matter, this stair tread stands out thanks to its practical traction pattern and extended wear capability. Manufactured in the United States by Tarkett, it's a straightforward choice for stairways that need long-term performance without unnecessary complexity.
The blue color is distinct enough to serve as a visual marker, helping to delineate stair edges and highlight movement paths without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. The raised square profile on each step delivers steady grip - a detail that can make a difference in both commercial and institutional environments. Sized at 72 inches in length and 12.25 inches wide, this tread accommodates most standard stairs in one solid piece, reducing the need for multiple cuts or awkward overlaps.
Rubber construction means it can hold up through years of foot traffic, resisting moisture, scuff marks, and daily impacts with little effort from maintenance staff. Cleaning is straightforward, and the uniform surface stands up to mopping or vacuuming as part of a standard routine. A five-year warranty supports its dependable performance, so facilities managers can specify or order with confidence, knowing replacement cycles won't come prematurely.
The Color Splash finish was chosen to offer safety and visibility benefits. This makes it well suited for venues that prioritize both function and safety protocol adherence - schools, healthcare facilities, office buildings, and anywhere that consistent footing is required. Multiple color options within the series cater to wayfinding or coordinated palettes, but this version brings a calm, modern blue tone.
Adhesive compatibility and accessory range let installation adapt to a variety of subfloor conditions, which helps contractors meet specific code or workflow demands without hassle. Installation is straightforward; the tread's form factor and flexibility simplify jobsite work, and the raised pattern compresses just enough under each step for comfort while maintaining its shape. For busy sites, this means less time spent on replacements and more reliable protection for every stairwell over the years.
Professionals charged with specifying stair safety products will appreciate that this offering balances safety, appearance, and endurance under challenging conditions.
