About The Product
Call Today and Save. Tarkett Johnsonite Husk Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 48 inch is built for facilities that need consistent stair protection and contemporary curb appeal. Manufactured from quality rubber and finished with a textured, hammered surface, this tread offers lasting durability and slip resistance in high-traffic environments. The gray tone complements a broad range of commercial settings, blending smoothly with both modern and classic color schemes.
At 48 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, this stair tread offers generous coverage for most standard and oversized steps. The square profile sits flush against risers and landing edges, which ensures a clean line and reliable wear over time. The hammered finish isn't just about looks-it subtly increases traction, helping to minimize slip risks in busy stairwells. Each edge is sharply defined for a finished appearance that doesn't attract debris or require constant adjustment.
Produced in the United States and supported by a 5-year warranty, the Husk Color Splash model withstands heavy usage in offices, schools, healthcare environments, and retail spaces. The high-density rubber construction takes foot traffic and minor impacts in stride. Unlike smoother finishes that show dirt and wear faster, the textured surface helps disguise marks, lengthening the interval between routine maintenance cycles.
Installation is straightforward and compatible with most commonly used stair adhesives (check with your installer for compatibility depending on substrates and local building requirements). The treads are supplied individually, making it easy to match the order quantity to your project scope. No unnecessary packaging or bundled extras-just what's needed to cover the stair runs efficiently. This appeals to contractors and property managers looking to complete both small retrofits and larger renovation projects with minimal waste.
Everything about this stair tread prioritizes long-term reliability and straightforward maintenance. The material absorbs sound and impact, which can be a real benefit in multi-story buildings or public spaces with persistent foot traffic. If you place a premium on appearance and practical performance, Husk Color Splash balances both without being flashy or flimsy.
