About The Product
Save Now on the Tarkett Johnsonite Husk Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 60 inch-a stair tread that delivers daily reliability for projects where steady use is just part of the job. This model measures 60 inches long and stretches a full 12.25 inches wide, which means you're getting coverage that works well for most standard staircases in commercial or institutional settings. Its hammered finish, in a straightforward gray, brings in texture to quietly help with traction and masks the inevitable scuffs that come with heavy foot traffic. This stair tread is made in the United States from solid rubber material, chosen for its long-lasting wear and simple maintenance. You get peace of mind with a five-year warranty included with each tread.
The square profile sits flush against steps, giving a sharp, neat transition from riser to tread-no odd edges jutting out. Husk gray keeps to the neutral side, so it blends in easily without dominating the look of your stairwell. The hammered texture is there for a reason: it improves slip resistance just enough where it counts, and does a nice job disguising everyday marks from shoes or carts.
Clean-up is quick. The rubber wipes down easily-no swelling or fading from repeated mopping, and you won't run into edge curling or peeling. For high-traffic settings like schools, clinics, or retail, that makes a real difference. Over time, what you notice is that the treads keep their shape and appearance longer than you might expect at this price point.
You don't need special adhesives or complicated tools to get this stair tread properly in place. It's designed to work with industry-standard glues for rubber installations, so installation is straightforward whether you're managing a new build or a renovation. The Color Splash series also makes it manageable to match other stair system components, so there's no guessing game when you're aiming for consistency floor to floor.
If your priorities are safety, durability, and a look that stands up to repeated use, this Made in USA Husk Color Splash stair tread gives you all the essentials without extra fuss.
