About The Product
Buy Now and Save with the Tarkett Johnsonite Husk Color Splash Stair Tread Gray Raised Square Rubber 60 inch, made for reliable traction and long-lasting step safety. This stair tread is all about practical function in demanding public and commercial spaces, offering a steady grip with its signature raised square profile that runs the full length of each 60-inch tread. The neutral gray color works quietly within a variety of interior schemes-part of the appeal for those who want effective slip protection without a loud visual shift across their staircase.
At 60 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, you have enough coverage to handle broader steps in schools, healthcare buildings, or offices, minimizing material waste and simplifying installation compared to shorter treads. The precise square pattern isn't just for surface feel; it promotes steady footing even during heavy daily use. Made from resilient rubber, each tread stands up well to foot traffic, scuffs, and basic cleaning routines. The material acts as a natural shock buffer, which helps ease foot stress for those moving up and down stairs for hours at a time.
The raised square surface helps mask superficial marks and keeps routine maintenance straightforward-most dirt and dust clear with a broom or mop, and stains don't set in easily. This option is a straightforward one for property managers and facilities teams looking to address stair safety codes, cut down on slip risks, or replace worn coverings with something that'll withstand repeated cleaning and constant use. The tread's 5-year warranty speaks to its reliability across high-traffic settings.
Installers will appreciate that each tread is supplied at full 60-inch length, so cutting and splicing are kept to a minimum, and adhesive application is uncomplicated. These treads are manufactured in the United States, a key point for projects with domestic sourcing requirements or those that need consistent lead times and product traceability. No painting or finish touch-up is needed-just secure with your chosen adhesive (adhesive sold separately), and you're ready for use.
