About The Product
Best Savings Tarkett Johnsonite Husk Color Splash Stair Tread Raised Round Gray 60 inch Rubber is built to provide reliable slip resistance in demanding environments. For facilities managers addressing high-traffic staircases-think schools, hospitals, transit stations-these treads perform without distracting from the overall look of the building. The gray tone is straightforward, easy to coordinate with many different flooring types, and won't show scuffs or minor wear easily over time.
At 60 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, these treads accommodate most commercial steps in a single piece, which cuts down on seams and speeds up installation. The tough rubber holds up well against daily use, resisting cracking and providing a little bit of cushion underfoot. The raised round surface pattern offers a tactile grip that meets safety standards but doesn't make walking uncomfortable for those in dress shoes or using mobility devices.
Square profile edges mean a uniform fit from step to riser and a finished edge that discourages premature wear. It's a straightforward fit in ADA projects and compliance-driven settings. The rounded surface pattern also helps collect debris for easier maintenance, while the smooth surface resists cleaning chemicals and routine mopping.
The material is commercial-grade rubber, chosen specifically for its long-term durability. Unlike some alternatives, it won't harden or shrink significantly, even in areas with temperature swings or humidity. The included five-year warranty provides added confidence, though the track record on this line suggests it's rare to need it. This Color Splash tread range includes multiple color and profile options for those standardizing across several floors or stairwells. All units are manufactured in the United States, which helps maintain consistency in both shipping schedule and product quality.
If durability and a neutral color profile are top priorities, this stair tread is an efficient answer. Installation is straightforward, coverage is generous, and the round tread surface provides both visual order and practical function. More details and color options can be found at this link.
This tread is suitable for anyone needing a reliable stair covering that delivers on safety expectations and long-term value, whether for renovation or new construction.
