About The Product
Guaranteed Savings, Tarkett Johnsonite Lake Short Color Splash Stair Tread in gray features a durable raised square rubber profile at 72 inches by 12.25 inches. This stair tread is selected for commercial spaces where long-term wear and a consistent visual appearance matter. The raised square surface pattern adds grip underfoot, increasing traction on busy stairways and reducing slip hazards without overwhelming the look of the staircase. Sizing at a full 72 inches covers most standard steps in one piece, which streamlines installation and maintains alignment across large staircases.
The 12.25-inch width ensures coverage across typical stair depths, while the raised square profile provides uniformity throughout the stairwell. Rubber as the material of choice means these treads handle repeated daily use, foot traffic, and incidental bumps from equipment in educational, retail, or public settings. Scuffs and marks are less pronounced on this surface, supporting a tidy appearance between scheduled cleanings.
A 5-year warranty backs each stair tread, representing a dependable choice for projects requiring both immediate visual consistency and sustained use. Rubber's ability to dampen the sound of footsteps means less echo and a quieter stairwell-an appreciated detail in office buildings or residential complexes. Manufactured in the United States, this product aligns with local sourcing requirements present in many institutional or government projects.
For those specifying stair coverings in projects where quality and visual continuity are priorities, the Lake Shore Color Splash tread is a reliable answer. It is sold without adhesives, giving you the flexibility to match site conditions and installation codes with your adhesive selection. Accessories, such as appropriate risers or transition pieces, can be matched for cohesive results throughout halls and stairwells.
