About The Product
Fast Shipping Tarkett Johnsonite Torch Lake Color Splash Raised Square Stair Tread in blue, sized at 72 inches by 12.25 inches, offers a durable rubber surface for reliable traction on steps. In commercial environments where stairs see constant use, it's the details-like a raised square surface-that make a difference. This tread doesn't just help prevent slips; it also stands up well to repeated cleaning and daily foot traffic. The finish provides slip-resistance without intrusive patterns, and the color stays true even with regular use.
Measuring 72 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, this tread is intended for broad stair runs, limiting the need for trimming while providing a full landing area. The blue shade is noticeable enough to support visibility and safety measures without being a distraction. Manufactured in the United States, this model is aimed at facility managers and building owners looking for reliable performance and straightforward installation. It's made from heavy-duty rubber, offering more substance underfoot compared to flimsier alternatives.
During installation, you'll notice the tread stays flat and doesn't warp or curl along the sides-a common issue with lesser materials. The raised square pattern runs evenly across the surface, boosting grip and making it more comfortable to walk on than sharply textured options. The rubber material maintains its shape and color in settings ranging from schools to retail, and cleaning staff will appreciate that frequent washing doesn't cause fading or peeling.
The installation process uses standard adhesives for rubber flooring-no specialty products required-which helps streamline large-scale jobs and keeps labor costs in check. Tarkett Johnsonite backs this stair tread with a five-year warranty, offering confidence for facility updates or new projects. With the square-shaped edge, steps take on a neatly finished effect, which can be especially important where visual consistency and safety standards are a priority.
This model is selected for commercial spaces, but property owners have found it holds up just as well in residential staircases where slip-resistance and durability are the leading concerns. The measurements and materials come together to serve day-to-day demands without looking industrial or out of place. The surface's slip-resistance is a practical feature for anyone dealing with heavy foot traffic or spill-prone environments.
