About The Product
Largest Tarkett Retailer brings you the Tarkett Johnsonite Torch Lake Color Splash Blue Raised Square Stair Tread, measuring 48 inches for dependable, modern stair protection. This stair tread is built for lasting performance, made in the United States and covered by a 5-year warranty. For projects requiring long-term reliability-commercial, public, or high-traffic residential use-this Color Splash option stands up to repeated use and heavy footfalls while maintaining a fresh, contemporary appearance.
The Torch Lake blue isn't just an aesthetic feature; it brings a clear, consistent look, making each step easier to identify. The tread covers 48 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, providing full step coverage which cuts down on wasted material and awkward overhangs during installation. The raised square finish delivers steady traction underfoot, supporting safer walking surfaces in schools, transit facilities, and office buildings. With a square profile that forms a clean line from riser to tread, this model keeps edges tidy-easy to sweep, and less likely to show dirt or scuffing over time.
Constructed from thick, commercial-grade rubber, the tread absorbs daily wear and resists marking. You can feel the texture under hand; those raised squares are evenly spaced to support grip and add dimension without catching debris. No soft spots or irregularities in density-the surface holds its form through thousands of passes. This matters in settings where safety codes and maintenance schedules have to be met without constant attention or replacement.
Adhesive is not included out of the box, offering flexibility to match the application method with project requirements. Facility teams and installation pros can choose adhesives compatible with their specific site needs-a necessity in large projects or when managing varied substrates like wood, concrete, or metal stairs. This approach suits teams who value being able to select their own materials for a custom approach.
The included 5-year warranty gives peace of mind when specifying this stair tread for large-scale rollouts or retrofits. The warranty is backed up by Tarkett's experience in commercial flooring, so long-term performance isn't a question mark on your maintenance budget. If you are coordinating with matching nosings, risers, or need guidance on how this tread fits into a complete stair solution, reference materials and installation tips are available directly from the retailer.
