About The Product
Discounted Pricing brings you the Tarkett Johnsonite Torch Lake Color Splash Blue Raised Round Stair Tread 48 inch, a practical solution for durable, slip-resistant stair installation. If your project calls for a stair tread that can handle heavy use while still looking modern, this model's worth strong consideration. Designed and made in the United States, the Color Splash raised round stair tread consistently meets quality expectations set by commercial and institutional spaces that need stay-in-place safety and visual clarity.
This stair tread comes in a 48-inch length, giving you solid coverage for most standard stairwells without fussy piecing together. At 12.25 inches wide and built with a square profile, it's sized for everything from office complexes to schools where uniformity matters as much as durability. The surface is finished with raised rounds, which means you're getting additional grip - every step feels more secure, wet weather or not. That tactile pattern makes a noticeable difference underfoot and adds another barrier against slips in high-traffic areas.
Blue is not your average neutral. In environments that run the risk of feeling overly industrial or gray, the Torch Lake color brings a hit of brightness without veering into distraction. The rubber itself is built to be tough - engineered for long-term stairs installation rather than quick-fix replacement. Over time, this material resists cracking and warping, thanks to proven Tarkett Johnsonite manufacturing standards focused on practical longevity.
You'll also notice the details: the stair tread's edges are clean, so installation lines up well with risers, making for an even, professional look when the job is finished. The square profile sits flush to the stair's edge, supporting a finished silhouette that doesn't snag or catch on shoes and minimizes wear at corners. Every tread includes a five-year warranty, adding a measure of assurance that goes beyond aesthetics.
Worth noting, the Color Splash collection was developed for a wide range of settings - schools, hospitals, and commercial office buildings come to mind, but the specification works equally well in high-use residential common areas. The 48-inch length and 12.25-inch width make cutting and customization to unique stair shapes more straightforward than working with awkwardly sized alternatives. Johnsonite's raised round finish isn't just for show - it's approved for use in code-compliant spacing and configuration.
When it comes to adhesives or installation processes, you've got flexibility; this stair tread plays well with standard stair adhesives and complies with most institutional requirements. In terms of long-term value, the five-year warranty stands out for projects that demand evidence of manufacturer support. Between the clean blue color, clear warranty, and dimensions built for real-world settings, the Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Raised Round Blue Stair Tread 48" aims straight for jobs that need practical solutions with a bit of personality - and the kind of durability that gets noticed after years, not just after installation.
