About The Product
Best Prices on the Tarkett Johnsonite Color Splash Raised Round Stair Tread Blue 72 inch x 12.25 inch brings slip-resistant function and modern color to step applications. Recognizable for its bold blue finish, this stair tread prioritizes both safety and visibility in busy, high-use environments. If you need a straightforward solution for minimizing slip risks and making stairs stand out visually, this model covers those bases with clarity.
Measuring 72 inches in length and 12.25 inches wide, each tread lines up well for nearly any standard commercial stairway. The raised round pattern provides added traction, which means users get extra grip-especially important in educational, healthcare, or retail facilities. The square nose maintains a consistent, professional look right to the edge of the tread, which contributes to a uniform appearance throughout your stairway system. Made from resilient commercial-grade rubber, these treads handle daily foot traffic with ease, resisting scuffs and absorbing footfalls while staying in shape over time.
Flexibility in installation is a noticeable advantage. Adhesives are not included with the tread, so you can select a product that aligns with your unique subfloor-concrete, wood, or otherwise. This adaptability makes it possible to tailor each job to the specific site conditions, which isn't always the case with pre-packaged stair solutions. Being part of the Color Splash series, the treads are intended to fit into a variety of institutional or professional settings with requirements for visual cues or compliance activities.
With its origin in the United States and a five-year warranty, the Color Splash stair tread aligns with quality expectations for large projects and public buildings. The bright blue color is often chosen for high-visibility installations, such as marking step edges to boost awareness-ideal for compliance with code-required visual contrast or just for easier wayfinding in complex spaces.
Cleaning and maintenance are simple: rubber handles commercial cleaning products and daily wear without difficulty. The material doesn't easily scuff or deteriorate, and neutral cleaners are all that's required for upkeep. Facility managers and installers will appreciate how this stair tread holds up-delivering continued performance in hallways, stairwells, and entryways where durability truly counts.
