About The Product
Call Now for Exclusive Savings on the Tarkett Johnsonite Maritime Color Splash Stair Tread Raised Round 48 inch Blue Rubber Stair Tread, measuring 12.25 inches wide. This tread presents a practical solution for busy public spaces and projects that need both visual impact and dependable slip resistance. Manufactured in the United States, it provides consistent quality and support from a well-established domestic source.
The maritime blue color is bold without being overbearing, offering an effective way to distinguish stairways and inject some personality into frequently visited areas. The raised round texture-often referred to as a "coin" or "circular" surface-does more than catch the eye; it actively improves traction and safety in environments that see a steady stream of foot traffic. With a square profile, each tread fits neatly against stair edges, giving a clean, professional appearance throughout the staircase.
With dimensions of 48 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, this stair tread meets the demands of most commercial installations by providing ample coverage and durability. The rubber material is specifically chosen for its resilience, ability to absorb impact, and straightforward cleaning. It holds up against both pedestrian activity and the elements brought indoors, which is essential for maintaining attractive and safe walkways.
Installation requires professional-grade adhesives (not included), allowing flexibility for various substrates and specific conditions within each facility. The Color Splash model, from Tarkett Johnsonite's well-regarded range, comes with a 5-year warranty-backing its long-term use and ongoing performance. Those managing commercial flooring projects appreciate having a component that stands up to repeated use without losing its shape or effectiveness.
Daily care for this tread is uncomplicated: sweeping or mopping keeps debris in check, and periodic deeper cleaning preserves both the vivid color and the raised surface pattern. One practical advantage often mentioned is its resistance to curling and warping along the edges, an issue seen with less proven competitors. This makes it suitable not just for immediate installation but also for minimizing long-term replacements and repairs.
