About The Product
Save Now with the Tarkett Johnsonite Maritime Color Splash Raised Square Rubber Stair Tread, 48 inch x 12.25 inch, designed to deliver reliable performance and a distinctive profile. If you're looking for stair protection that stands up to heavy use, this tread hits several marks: a standout blue from the Color Splash palette, a well-defined raised square finish for extra grip, and a format that covers most standard stair setups without looking cumbersome or institutional.
This stair tread measures 48 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, providing coverage for a range of commercial and public environments. The square-raised surface does more than just add texture-it helps with slip resistance, giving shoes and feet real traction. You'll appreciate how the thicker rubber composition absorbs some of the typical noises you'd expect in high-traffic zones, contributing to a quieter atmosphere over time.
Made from quality rubber, the tread stands up to daily wear, scuffing, and frequent cleaning. The blue color isn't sprayed on or treated-it's integrated throughout the tread, which means it holds up well against the usual fading or flaking you see with some other stair coverings. It's suitable for stairwells in schools, offices, healthcare settings, or anywhere a bit of color and safe footing both matter.
Installation is straightforward, thanks to the flexible nature of the material that accommodates surface imperfections on existing stairs. That same flexibility helps ensure a tight fit regardless of minor inconsistencies, so each tread sits flush without curling or shifting. With regular care, it keeps its shape and visual appeal, and the 5-year warranty is a solid indicator of what to expect long-term.
Manufactured in the United States and supported by Tarkett's established model reference (Color Splash, sku RNSQSPVK148), this stair tread is built for those who want lasting performance and color continuity.
