About The Product
Top Rated Tarkett Johnsonite Oak Alley Color Splash Stair Tread Raised Round Gray Rubber 48 inch combines a square profile with durable rubber construction. This tread offers a reliable solution for commercial spaces that face constant foot traffic and the kinds of messes that appear in public stairwells. The raised round finish provides a consistent grip on every step, adding a practical surface texture that keeps movement secure without feeling overly utilitarian.
Dimensions are straightforward-each tread is 48 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, large enough to cover most standard stair sizes with minimal trimming. The gray color works well across a range of interior palettes, from functional work environments to public corridors. With the Color Splash model, color matching for replacements or phased renovations is simple-you get the benefit of a consistent appearance over time, helpful for facilities where presentation and safety are both priorities. The square profile makes alignment against the stair nose clean and direct, streamlining installation regardless of how old the underlying stairs may be.
The tread uses a high-quality rubber that absorbs impact and takes on day-to-day scuffing better than basic materials. Routine cleaning works with standard maintenance tools-there's nothing delicate here, so a mop or a scrub depending on the mess will keep things looking presentable. There's no included adhesive, allowing you to choose a product that fits your subfloor-whether it's vinyl, concrete, or wood. Installers who know their material will appreciate the uniform thickness and straight edges, which speed up fitting and allow for quick adjustments on site.
Every stair tread is made in the United States and comes backed by a five-year warranty. That's a practical window, right in line with expectations for commercial flooring that gets heavy everyday use. If you need proof of compliance or have a spec for domestic manufacturing, these check that box as well.
