About The Product
Best Savings - Tarkett Johnsonite Octoberfest Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch stands out for facilities where everyday durability, clean lines, and safety are high priorities. In schools, offices, and public venues where flooring gets put to the test, the Octoberfest Color Splash delivers long-term value by holding up where lesser treads often fall short. Manufactured in the United States, it comes with a 5-year warranty, offering solid reassurance that you're covered well beyond installation.
This stair tread measures 72 inches long and 12.25 inches wide-dimensions that suit standard and larger stairs without the hassle of excessive seams or cuts. The squared profile keeps the look modern and minimizes visual interruption along the tread edge. Its hammered finish isn't just there for style-it contributes to slip resistance while staying comfortable to step on, a real benefit when you want improved traction without an industrial feel. The Octoberfest brown color offers a versatile neutral that plays well with a broad range of commercial palettes, never overpowering the overall look.
The rubber material absorbs some impact and noise, making stairs feel more forgiving underfoot and protecting the structure beneath from unnecessary wear. With rubber, you'll avoid the common frustrations that accompany hard, brittle treads-no concerns about chipping or splitting as the months go on.
The 72-inch length also simplifies installation for most projects-fewer cuts, fewer seams, and a cleaner final result. The square profile and 12.25-inch width work in environments where compliance and aesthetics are both at the forefront. The hammered texture is a practical choice for maintenance since it camouflages scuffs while making it easy to sweep debris and dust off the surface.
Installation is straightforward and compatible with standard rubber-compatible adhesives. The tread accepts your preferred installation method without issue. Cleaning is also a quick process-just a sweep, mop, or wipe-down handles most messes, and the hammered finish means minor marks blend in rather than standing out.
For projects that see persistent activity-rolling carts, heavy traffic, or daily footfall-this stair tread is made to last, maintaining both safety and appearance with minimal fuss.
