About The Product
Quick Ship the Tarkett Johnsonite Mariner Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch and bring reliable, long-term performance to any stairwell that sees daily use. This stair tread is sized at a generous 72 inches in length and measures 12.25 inches wide, so it's a practical fit for most commercial or institutional staircases that require both safety and a consistent aesthetic. Tarkett has built this tread from durable rubber, and you feel that confidence underfoot-there's just enough grip in the hammered finish to give you assurance, but it's not so aggressive that it draws attention. This is the blue variant, which stands out without clamoring for attention-a shade you'd expect to find in modern education facilities or healthcare environments that want color without sacrificing professionalism.
The hammered surface isn't an afterthought; it's uniform, resists scuffing, and helps maintain traction even when shoes are wet or conditions aren't ideal. Over time, you're less likely to see uneven wear patterns. The square profile is a smart detail, too-crisp, with corners that don't roll upward or catch, helping to keep the transition from tread to riser smooth and simple to clean. If you're involved in specifying materials for high-traffic areas, the five-year warranty on this tread is a legitimate plus. It's built in the United States, which has become a non-negotiable in many jobs where compliance and material consistency matter.
With 72 inches of length, most standard steps will only require a single tread per run, reducing seam lines and installation time. Fit and finish feel modern-substantial without seeming bulky. This Mariner Color Splash series works best wherever you want coordinated, uniform steps that don't look like a stock, afterthought installation. Plus, the rubber construction makes it easy to wipe down or mop, saving time on maintenance.
For anyone unsure about matching stair standards or trying to meet a project schedule, the "Quick Ship" availability for this SKU (HMNTSPVH172) is worth noting.
