About The Product
Discounted Pricing. Tarkett Johnsonite Puget Sound Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch is made for high-traffic commercial stairs where safety, consistent color, and lasting quality are essential. With its 72-inch length and 12.25-inch width, this stair tread is suited for large steps and longer stairways, minimizing the need for seams and making installation efficient. It's sized for practicality-each piece covers substantial ground, saving time and simplifying planning for facility managers.
The hammered surface isn't just for appearance-it provides added grip for every step. When stairways see a near-constant flow of people, that texture brings real value in helping reduce slips and falls. The gray shade works well in public settings, camouflaging dust and scuffs, and looks clean and steady under heavy use. No distractions here-just a solid finish that's suitable for a variety of environments including schools, office buildings, and civic spaces.
Manufactured from rubber and made in the United States, this stair tread is all about reliability through years of wear. The squared profile delivers a neat edge that reads as current in today's interiors and keeps everything feeling orderly. Rubber treads like this handle repeated foot traffic, dropped items, and the usual day-to-day activity with less visible wear than many alternatives. There's a five-year warranty behind each piece, so you're covered if something gives out before its time.
When you're installing, the generous length means fewer pieces and seams, leading to a cleaner, more continuous appearance across each stairway. Clean-up is uncomplicated-sweep, mop, or wipe as needed without much fuss, and stains tend to blend in instead of standing out. There are accessory options-adhesives and matching trims-to make the process smoother and to give the completed stairwell a unified look.
