About The Product
Top Rated Tarkett Johnsonite Sandstorm Color Splash Stair Tread Brown 72 inch delivers resilient rubber protection and a raised square profile for safe, attractive steps. This stair tread is for those who need reliable performance in busy environments-offices, retail spaces, or anywhere durability and a straightforward finish matter. The Sandstorm brown fits somewhere between warm neutral and earthy tones and doesn't overpower, so it fits in with a broad range of architectural styles and color palettes.
With a 72-inch length and a 12.25-inch width, you get coverage that works for most commercial stairs. Fewer seams mean a tidier look and less potential for wear at the edges. The rubber construction is engineered for lasting wear, especially on steps that see heavy use daily. The raised square surface not only gives the tread visual interest but provides reliable traction, reducing slips even in high-traffic corridors or public entryways. Dirt and debris are less likely to collect, so maintenance teams spend less time cleaning and more time moving on to the next task.
This stair tread is part of the Color Splash line, trusted by facilities managers and installers for settings where consistent safety and reliable grip can't be compromised. The finish doesn't show scuffs or traffic abuse quickly, and the tactile squared surface means steady footing whether it's sneakers, dress shoes, or boot traffic. It's backed by a 5-year warranty, which is a solid offer for a commercial building component, and production is based entirely in the United States-meeting many local sourcing requirements.
If your project requires consistent nosing or contrasting tread patterns to meet accessibility codes, the square profile delivers a clearly defined edge. There's no adhesive or riser included, so you get to match this piece with other installation products of your choice. Color is consistent from batch to batch, and if you need to pair this tread to risers or trim pieces, Tarkett's extended line carries complementary options. You can always find specifics on the manufacturer's resource page if you're sourcing for multiple installations or specifying for a bid.
When you need a stair tread capable of handling foot traffic, wheeled carts, or cleaning regimens without looking worn out in six months, this model reflects what's expected in a professional setting. The brown shade coordinates easily, the raised square pattern is more than just a surface detail, and the 5-year warranty brings peace of mind-the reasons it consistently places among category top picks.
