About The Product
Best Savings brings the Roppe Dolphin 48 Inch Low Profile Raised Circular Square Stair Tread, a durable rubber solution in Dolphin for safe, modern stair protection at 48" x 12.5". If you need a tread that handles daily impact without showing wear or compromising on safety, this one is designed to cover that ground - and it does it with a low profile that sits close to the surface so your step feels secure, not bulky. Made in the USA and covered by a 10-year warranty, you're working with a product built for long-term projects where both reliability and compliance matter.
This stair tread measures 48 inches in length and 12.5 inches wide, sized to land solidly on commercial and institutional stairs and leaving no odd gaps at the edges. The thickness is kept intentionally lean, letting the low profile hug close to each riser for cleaner lines and less risk of tripping over a raised edge. Roppe used premium rubber throughout, which gives you resistance to scuffs and cracks while staying grippy even when conditions in the building change. The Dolphin color runs uniform across the tread, blending into more contemporary projects or matching standard corporate palettes - so you're not hoping a beige works where you really needed a neutral gray.
The finish is a key detail: you get the raised circular pattern with square edge detailing. That's more than an aesthetic choice - those raised circles give shoes, boots, and wheels additional grip up the entire run of the step, while the low profile means the tread integrates easily without raising your overall stair height. Installers can match the tread with standard adhesives used for rubber flooring - you're not buying anything proprietary just to get this in place.
No visible branding, no fussy finishes that collect dirt. You can clean these treads with standard maintenance routines, and the warranty gives clear long-term reassurance against premature wear. If you're outfitting every floor in a multi-story office or handling periodic replacements in a public building, the low profile nature and uniform surface pattern help you tick the boxes for code, safety, and a predictable, straightforward install process. Pricing on these treads typically lands below many comparable commercial options in the same material class, so outfitting a whole facility is easier to plan for on budget. It's about function, not flash - a practical tread that looks as sharp a year in as on install day.
