About The Product
Largest Supplier of Roppe Products, the Roppe Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread Clove 48 Inch Rubber Stair Tread measures 48 inches in length and 12.38 inches in width, offering an easy-to-maintain, smooth surface suited for commercial stairways. This tread covers standard steps reliably, and the Clove color is a deep, neutral brown that pairs well with most commercial interiors while being practical for concealing everyday dust and marks. For high-traffic environments-offices, schools, or healthcare-it's a practical solution that delivers lasting appearance and straightforward care.
The smooth finish makes cleaning efficient and helps maintain a consistently neat look even through frequent use. The tread is made from rubber, providing noticeable comfort underfoot and withstanding regular impacts without showing excessive wear or indentations. Roppe stands behind its stair treads with a five-year warranty, underscoring a commitment to dependable performance. Choose between square or round edge profiles depending on site requirements or local regulations-both options are finished during manufacturing to fit cleanly and securely onto each step.
Installation is uncomplicated, even on staircases with slight unevenness, since the rubber remains flexible enough to adapt while keeping its intended dimensions. Manufactured in the USA, this stair tread meets domestic sourcing standards and fits procurement needs for federal or commercial projects. Commercial facility managers will appreciate the predictable fit and consistent finish from order to delivery. The tread's size and uniform coloring support bulk purchases across multiple locations, making it suitable for larger scale property improvements or ongoing maintenance plans.
Custom cutting is straightforward for non-standard steps, simplifying retrofits and repairs. The Clove shade is a practical mid-to-dark tone: it helps mask minor blemishes between cleanings, never looking stark or out of place. The smooth, satin-like surface avoids showing excessive footprints and maintains a presentable finish without reflecting light harshly.
If your stairways require a long-term, Made in USA product that provides solid performance in busy environments, this tread checks the necessary boxes for reliability and appearance. It offers the consistent quality that commercial projects depend on, keeping steps safe and presentable year after year.
