Roppe Clove Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread 72 Inch

Buy Now and Save with the Roppe Clove Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread, a 72 inch rubber stair solution with a smooth finish and 12.38 inch width. When the task calls for a practical stair tread that keeps things straightforward and reliable, this option checks the key boxes. This tread features a classic Clove color-a deep, neutral brown with a subtle warmth that's easy to integrate with a wide variety of flooring and architectural palettes. It's built for commercial and residential spaces where you need coverage over 72 inches in length and a 12.38 inch width, making it suitable for pairing with most standard staircase configurations.

Details matter on stairs, and this tread's smooth surface is designed for spaces that don't require deep relief or extra grip, but where cleanability and a finished, uniform look are essential. It's engineered as a light duty solution, so it's appropriate for lower-traffic settings-think multi-unit housing, offices, back-of-house corridors, and education facilities that want reliable wear over time but don't need the reinforcement of heavy-duty commercial treads. The choice of a square or round profile edge helps customize the fit and finish; square for a crisp, flush appearance, round for a softer edge and potentially easier installation when existing stairs aren't perfectly square.

Rubber is the material of choice here for a good reason. It offers solid underfoot comfort and dampens noise, which is valuable on stairways in quieter environments. There is a 5-year warranty from Roppe, backing up its performance in the light duty category, and with 'Made in USA' certification, you get the assurance that production quality and material sourcing meets domestic industry standards. For buildings aiming to maintain consistent color and finish down the line, the color consistency of the Clove finish adds a professional touch that lasts through cleaning and day-to-day use.

This stair tread doesn't ship with extra adhesives or accessories, so you'll want to confirm your installation method and materials match both the subfloor and tread type for the best result. It's a straightforward selection for property managers and builders who value simplicity, predictable pricing, and a solution that just fits.
