About The Product
Fast Shipping Roppe Somber Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread 72 Inch Rubber Stair Tread is made for consistent grip and protection on interior steps in a subtle Somber shade. Measuring 72 inches long and 12.38 inches wide, this stair tread covers most common stair dimensions, providing full step coverage and a clean, finished appearance. Choice of square or round profile edges gives flexibility-sqare for crisp lines, round for a softer profile-so it's easier to coordinate with existing stair styles.
The smooth finish is easy to maintain and delivers a comfortable surface underfoot. Made from high-quality rubber, it delivers resilience and reliability without unnecessary weight or bulk. The tread is slim enough to sit flush against each step, cutting down on potential slip or trip concerns in lower-traffic spaces that still require dependable safety features.
"Somber" is an unobtrusive neutral, so it won't dominate a color scheme or draw unwanted attention to staircases intended for blend-in functionality. Clean-up is straightforward: just sweep or mop-the smooth surface doesn't hang onto debris and makes day-to-day care refreshingly low-maintenance. US production under a five-year warranty means it's held to consistent quality standards, and you have extra peace of mind for longer-term installations.
No adhesive is included, giving you the option to select the best installation method for your project's specific subfloor or environmental conditions. This is useful whether outfitting educational facilities, multifamily buildings, or offices where foot traffic isn't constant but safe movement is still a priority.
Maintenance is uncomplicated-the tread's finish allows dust and grime to be removed without excessive effort, and the step surface remains intact through routine cleaning.
If you want a stair tread that prioritizes practicality, size coverage, and color flexibility, all while being made in the USA and backed by a solid warranty, this is a solution worth considering. See additional stair tread options here.
