About The Product
Wholesale stair treads Pricing, the Roppe Light Duty Smooth Stair Tread Somber 48 Inch Rubber features a smooth profile and measures 48 inches by 12.38 inches. This stair tread offers a straightforward solution for coverage, with a muted Somber color that fits in quietly-especially where subtlety is key. The rubber material doesn't just offer flexibility, it holds up well in typical office, educational, or retail settings where traffic is steady but not punishing. A smooth finish means less hassle when it comes to maintenance, keeping things consistent even in high-use stairwells.
The option for square or round profile edging lets you pick what's best for your space, whether you're matching existing lines or adhering to specific code requirements. Both edge shapes keep things clean and safe at stair transitions, so the tread sits flush with risers and landings. At 48 inches long and 12.38 inches wide, each tread covers most standard commercial stair steps, cutting down on installation headaches and minimizing waste from trimming and fitting.
The Light Duty Smooth tread is meant for areas where constant, heavy foot traffic isn't a factor, but durability still matters. It's covered by a 5-year warranty, which gives buyers some assurance on longevity. Manufacturing in the USA adds an extra layer of predictability on supply and standards-if you're managing building specs or replacements over time, it's a solid box to check.
No adhesives or matching risers are included out of the box, so you can make choices based on your installation method or existing stair structure. Rubber construction means compatibility with a wide range of commonly used adhesives, which is a plus if you're integrating this into spaces with different base materials like concrete, wood, or terrazzo.
The finish strikes a careful balance: smooth enough to avoid unnecessary cleaning issues, but without the ultra-shiny-and often slippery-surface that adds risk in a busy corridor. The color and texture both hold up to repeated use, without shifting into the background so much that wear and tear are hidden until it's too late. For those specifying or maintaining commercial stairwells, this tread gives you consistency, reliable sizing, and a neutral profile that blends well with a range of interiors.
