About The Product
Buy with Confidence using the Roppe Somber Heavy Duty Smooth Stair Tread, a 72 inch rubber stair solution in Somber created for reliable coverage. For project managers and facilities specialists who need stair protection that can hold up under frequent use, this tread presents a practical answer. It performs in busy corridors and public stairways, maintaining its clean, professional look even as hundreds of people pass over it daily. The smooth finish means it wipes clean in less time and doesn't trap grime as some textured treads can.
This model is offered in the Somber color-neutral enough to blend into most interiors without clashing with existing flooring or decor. At 72 inches long and 12.31 inches wide, each tread is sized to provide thorough protection all the way from riser to edge, even on stairs built to larger specs. Both square and round profile edge choices are available, making it easier to comply with safety codes or to coordinate with other stair installations in the same building.
The tread is made from solid heavy-duty rubber-a composition built specifically to withstand impacts, repetitive footsteps, and the wear that comes with large-volume use. With a 10-year warranty, it covers a range of needs in public, commercial, and institutional environments. The low-profile smooth surface resists stains, marks, and moisture, minimizing ongoing maintenance and supporting a cleaner appearance over time. Installation is straightforward, and you can pair it with stair tread adhesives to suit different flooring materials and regulatory requirements.
Made in the USA, this tread supports local manufacturing standards and helps reduce lead times for urgent renovation or build projects. Unlike some flooring products that put appearance over resilience, the appeal here is longevity and reliability. For settings where the main concern is long-term function-schools, office towers, healthcare facilities-this stair tread stands up to the task with ease, while remaining economical compared to more labor-intensive alternatives like tile or metal edges.
For building teams who prioritize lasting performance and a wide coverage area, the Roppe Somber Heavy Duty Smooth Stair Tread is a straightforward pick. Complete details, technical documents, and other stair protection options are available directly from https://bladesasap.com/categories/stair-treads-risers/. It addresses the daily realities of high-traffic stairwells-quietly reliable and built for the long haul.
