About The Product
Discounted Pricing: Tarkett Johnsonite Cape May Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch stands out for jobs where reliable performance and visual appeal need to go hand in hand. At 72 inches long and 12.25 inches wide, this stair tread covers more ground per piece than most, minimizing seams on wider stairs-a practical advantage for facilities with heavy daily traffic. The hammered finish does double duty: it conceals daily scuff marks and footprints, but also provides a tactile, slip-resistant surface for added safety in busy commercial spaces.
The Cape May Color Splash option in gray offers a neutral approach that works equally well in newer interiors and established settings. The square profile keeps the look sharp and straightforward, without unnecessary embellishments that can clash with existing architectural features. Rubber composition means a slight give underfoot, providing comfort for high-traffic areas compared to harder materials. Maintenance is simple; these treads hold up well through routine cleaning cycles and don't easily lose their visual appeal over time.
Installation is user-friendly-pair these treads with adhesives suitable for rubber, and the standardized sizing helps get multiple flights ready for occupancy faster. While the treads themselves are sold individually, integrating with matching risers from Tarkett Johnsonite is straightforward, with coordinated colors available for cohesive stair installations. Backed by a five-year warranty, the product delivers consistency not just when new, but over its service life.
Manufactured in the United States, these stair treads suit projects where origin or procurement country matters-whether for local compliance or simply peace of mind. For public institutions, healthcare facilities, or mixed-use buildings balancing budget, compliance, and long-term value, this option meets both practical and aesthetic targets at a competitive price point.
