About The Product
Guaranteed Savings Tarkett Johnsonite Cape May Color Splash Raised Round Stair Tread Gray 72 inch x 12.25 inch is designed to offer a durable slip-resistant solution for commercial stairs. If you need stair treads that hold up well in busy settings and support safety, this model addresses both. With its raised round surface and heavy-duty rubber composition, it takes on environments where foot traffic is high and slip-resistance is required.
The 72-inch length means fewer seams and straightforward installation across most standard stair widths, while the 12.25-inch width gives plenty of step coverage, reducing exposed edges. The square profile supplies a well-defined line along the step edge, and the raised round finish helps provide solid footing in every direction. Those rounded features on the surface increase grip and handle water and debris, helping prevent slips all day long.
Gray is always a safe bet for high-traffic spaces. It sits right between showing too much grime and looking washed out, making upkeep less of a headache. Tarkett's rubber stands up to repeated impact and flex, so it won't give way to cracking or wear prematurely. Production is handled in the United States and it arrives with a 5-year warranty, which makes it a reliable option for contractors and facilities teams who don't want surprises after the job is done.
The tread's raised round pattern isn't just about function - it's a thoughtful approach to stairway visibility too, highlighting the edge for safer stepping, even when the lights are lower. If your installation calls for specialty adhesives, compatible end trims, or coordinated riser materials, these can be individually selected to handle varied site requirements. This adaptability helps with jobs where consistency or compliance is non-negotiable.
