Best Prices. Tarkett Johnsonite Oak Alley Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch is engineered for flooring professionals and commercial building managers who need long-lasting stair coverage with a practical edge. This tread runs 72 inches in length and 12.25 inches in width, providing continuous surface protection for standard or extended staircase runs. The square profile stands out for its clean edge, offering a straightforward fit that delivers consistency across every step.

The rubber material is selected for its durability and ability to handle repeated foot traffic over time. The hammered finish gives the surface a textured look and feel-adding both a subtle tactile grip and an understated visual pattern. In gray, it's straightforward to pair with most flooring schemes, bringing functional value to spaces without distracting from other architectural elements.

Part of the Color Splash line-in the Oak Alley variant-this tread brings a more modern, neutral appearance to stairwells that might otherwise call for plain rubber or heavier wood options. With each tread spanning 72 inches, large staircases can be surfaced efficiently and with minimal seams. The 5-year warranty and Made in the United States origin help satisfy project requirements that demand clear product assurances and local manufacturing credentials.

Tarkett recommends the use of adhesives compatible with rubber stair treads (not included here); this ensures a firm bond on surfaces including concrete, metal, or wood. The hammered surface texture helps with traction-making it a smart choice in environments aiming to minimize slip hazards, such as schools, offices, or commercial corridors. Each tread installs flush thanks to its precise cut and consistent dimensions, minimizing maintenance down the line.
