About The Product
Nationwide Top Dealer. Tarkett Johnsonite Torch Lake Color Splash Stair Tread Hammered 72 inch is engineered for environments that demand both durability and a polished visual presence. This stair tread features a square profile, which offers a sharp, clean edge while supporting confident footing. Measuring 72 inches long by 12.25 inches wide, it's sized to cover most commercial steps in a single piece, minimizing seams and making installation more straightforward.
The Torch Lake blue tone is distinctive without being overpowering-a choice that lets you introduce color to stairwells, corridors, or lobbies without overwhelming the space. The hammered finish is more than a visual detail; it increases traction and breaks up glare under lighting, which is a plus in areas that prioritize safety for employees or visitors.
Made from high-quality rubber, this stair tread stands up well to repeated use and cleaning, resisting scuffs and marks that would quickly wear down lesser materials. Routine care is uncomplicated, as this surface tolerates standard cleaners and doesn't require any specialty treatments to maintain appearance or slip resistance. Facility teams will appreciate the balance of long-term wear and low maintenance costs.
The square profile meets common code and safety requirements in commercial interiors, and the inclusion of a 5-year warranty from Tarkett adds assurance to your project decisions. Sourced and manufactured in the United States, these treads support projects where reliable supply and quality control are non-negotiable factors-particularly valuable for schools, healthcare settings, or public buildings on tight construction timelines.
The hammered surface texture not only improves slip resistance in high-traffic settings but also helps to hide everyday dust and dirt, reducing the need for constant touch-ups between regular cleanings. When paired with compatible rubber risers, you get a consistent, finished look across every step. Size and fit are standardized, which means less time spent adjusting each tread on site and a cleaner result overall.
